• Re: Drag and Drop url's from Opera to Lightning Notes
It is a limitation of Opera. You could copy the url and then paste.
This is what I do. Thanks

  • Re: Import/Open files

So, I've just started using Lightning, so am working with it a bit this morning. Just a comment here. I convert all my work to rtf to send it to my editors. Lightning not being able to open rtf files is a major problem for me. I save a lot of my story snippets in rtf format. When I save snippets...

  • Lightning - Add printer

I'm new to the forum and I've just downloaded the WP 4X Office (an upgrade). I have two printers hooked up and only one is showing in Lightning and I don't see a way to add the second. Both are HP printers--one an inkjet, the other a color laser. In WordPerfect 4x both printers show up. The...

  • sporadic after firefox installation

I've been using Lightning since it first became available with X3, without incident. I find it a joy and a godsensd. This week, while switching to Verizon, they remotely installed Firefox (???) and used that browzer to configure their DSL. Lightning no longer behaves ... I cannot open Notebook, and the...

  • Problem uploading Lightning files to Joyent

I have been uploading my Lightning files to, and downloading those files from, the Joyent website for eight or nine months, with no problem of any kind in this synchronization process. But, over the past week, I have persistently experienced problems in this process. I have repeatedly received the message...

  • Installation

? Is this a standalone program or does it need some version of WordPerfect to work? I cannot install the program: After I download the program I get an installer on the desktop that seemingly installs the program. After a required restart I cannot find even a shred of the program anywhere in my files...

  • Re: Runtime Error

Kitty, I read your problem and saw you haven't had a solution. It sounds like you have a program error rather than a bug. Have you uninstalled and installed the newest version? That would be my suggestion. When I've had problems with a program, sometimes getting rid of it and reinstalling takes care...

  • Re: Additional Email Support

Hi, Is it not pretty easy to add support for other email programs? I would think it just used the default application for opening/creating new emails. If that is not the case, I hope as much effort will be put into supporting email clients other than Outlook or Outlook Express. Personally, I am stuck...

  • Re: Content pasted disappeared

Hey qqqqaa, Your post does not say what version of Windows you are running but I am having the same problem. You can read what is going on in my reply to the post in "Notes Disappear in Vista." It sounds like you are having the same problem that both Chris and I are having also. Stan.

  • Re: Notes Disappear in Vista

Hey Chris aka Questron, I have the same problem with my installation. Here is what seems to be happening: When you create a new note, Lightning makes an entry in the Catalog file located in the [USER_DIR]\AppData\Roaming\Corel\WordPerfect Lightning\Catalog\Catalog.xml file. This entry points to a file...
