Running WP11 with service pack 1 & 2 installed. We have several mapped network drives and when we perform a file open we have no problem getting a list of files and folders in every network drive except when we use the drive letter "K". We have unmapped and remapped to the same area using other drive letters and we can then perform a file open in WP, however when we map a network drive using "K" it hangs or does not display anything.
We have unchecked the "Use Ehanced File Dialogs" box under "Tools and then Settings" menu and then when you perform a file open you get the basic file open menu and it sees the drive letter K and all the files and folders display properly. However, then when you go back and check the "Use Ehanced File Dialogs" box the problem as stated above occurs. This is just bizzare, why would a specific alpha charactor like "K" cause a problem with the file open feature? Has anyone else run into this and if so what did you do to fix it?
