I am interested in an updated version of Quattro Pro (currently running 6.0) and want to know if there are any differences between the Home & Student version and the Office X4 Standard version.  For instance:  formula support the same? Macros included in Home & Student version?  Can both read wb2 spreadsheets (I know X4 can, because I downloaded the trial version)?  The description on the Corel site is pitifully short of useful information.

Also, are there any special requirements to qualify for the Home & Student Version?

I don't care about any of the other programs--only Quattro Pro.

Thanks.

Hi Stoaty

The QP apps are the same.  Home and Student allows people who use the applications for non-commercial (ie. not business related) purposes to get a nice break on the price.  W ehave removed some of the higher end PDF features (like PDF import) that would not be useful to this group of folks as well.  But QP is the same.

Regards,

jay
