I am using Windows 7 Working in XP (SP3) compatibility mode; Was working fine then just quit opening.

I guess you mean X3 and not  XP?  Either your default template is corrupt or you have a printer issue.  To fix the first, rename your template and then start wp.  In X3, the template name is typically something like wp13US.wpt.  Where 13 is your wp version number and US is your country version.
