Is it possible to Convert an old Quatrro Prol file WB1 to Excel 2007, I can't find any converters on the www. I am told that if I install a trial version of Word Perfect Office I could do this but its a huge download and dont particularluy want to install software and then uninstall for such a one off  task, so want this to be a last resort.

Are there any other options. out there to do this.

Thanks

Steve

Welcome to the forum!

You can post the file here or a free site like 4shared.com and I or another could convert it to an xls if you like.  Being that old, getting the data and few simple formulas to translate is about all that you can expect.

A conversion would be great, I placed the file here, if you click the link it should ask you where you want to save it.

Thanks very much, looks like most of the formula information is there.

Hi Keneth,

I need to convert 15 .wb1 files to Excel files. I was just wondering what tool did you use to accomplish this. Please let me know. Thank you very much for any help you could provide.

Is x4 a converter?

Is that the software full name?

Is it shareware?

I have a user with an old Quattro file and would like to have it converted to Excel 2003.  I tried opening it even with all the convertors already installed (we do full installation on all workstations) and suspect some variation differences.

Sorry, X4 is the 14th version of Quattro Pro.  You can download a free trial from Corel.

Not sure what version wb1 was.  The DOS extension was wq1.  QP6 is wb2.  Guess we could look at it if you like.  You can upload it here or a free shared site 4shared.com.
