I too have error 24 on attempted startup of Wordperfect X4, I have emailed all the numbers I have associated with this.

We have WordPerfect10 on our Dell computer with Windows XP and very often when we try to print it locks up the printer and the computer. The best way to prevent this is to save to the desktop and print from there. Why is this???

All those that starting seeing 'Error 24' on June 1st have determined to be using a serial number not issued by Corel. You can email wordperfectprodmgr@corel.com with your serial number to validate that you are having a separate issue.

I am getting Error 24 as of this morning.I purchased my X4 directly from the Corel website via the telephone, where I was sold a legitimate update since I was in the registry with earlier purchases. Using Windows 7. So here is an exception to your assertion that all who are getting Error 24 are using "not legit" software.

Figured it out.

The .UWL file location changed from the previous version from:

C:\Documents and Settings\username\My Documents\Corel User Files

TO THIS:

C:\Documents and Settings\username\Application Data\Corel\WordPerfect Office X5\WritingTools

How do I migrate my QuickCorrect UWL file to X5 from X4? Renaming it did not work like it usually has in the past 6 or so versions. Is there a new trick?

I have WordPerfect X4 and I am getting error 24 also. I tried downloading WordPerfect X5 trial. The address book is empty. What now??

I have WordPerfect which I have used since the beginning of computers and love. I am getting the Error 24 and have been following the CorelDraw forum since yesterday. I know this WPx4 is not a legit copy and I would really like to be legit without having to pay for the whole Office suite as I don't need all that stuff (I'm a writer - I only use WP not the other apps). Do you have any idea how I can do this?

When I open the address book in WordPerfect 5X I get the following error message

"No email program associated to perform the requested action. Please install an email program or,k if one is already installed, create an association in the Default Programs Control."

I use Mozilla's Thunderbird for my email and I think I know how to access the Default Programs Control but I don't know which one to point to Thunderbird in there.

Can anyone help me with this? Thanks

A subset being DBA_TABLES, DBA_INDEXES, DBA_TAB_COLUMNS, DBA_IND_COLUMNS, DBA_CONSTRAINTS, and DBA_CONS_COLUMNS. The ability to rattle of these objects as well as the columns that make up these views stems from the fact that, in the olden days, there were not any modeling tools that we were able to develop structures with, let alone be able to reverse engineer into. Thus we needed to be able to compare database structures attribute by attribute.

Looking at the possibilities in the template creator macro, I am wondering whether it is possible to adapt the XML data extraction facility in the macro to import XML data independently of SOAP. For example, to directly import an data file containing bibliographic information for use in a macro. This version has surfaced a lot of code for importing data into WP. Wondering if its worth the try?

It's too bad your support sucks. I could never use your Office product in the Enterprise because you lack the ability to solve the simplest of problems.
